Jericho Trinity School

Holy Trinity Catholic School, Jericho, WI

History:

Built in 1931. Closed in due to cost and low attendance. The church next door closed in 2005. Locals who attended the school claim that there were “not a lot of fond memories” of attending school there.

Claims:

Shadows have been seen in the basement, and the giggles of children have been heard in both main classrooms.

Experiences:

Two investigators watched a shadow figure peek its head around the door leading into the hallway.  In the basement, Bryan had his hand grabbed near the root cellar area, and was also touched on the back of the head by an unseen force. Tony also had a single finger run down his back while sitting in the chair in the basement.  Phantom smells of body odor and grease permeated the basement, and were smelled on occasion by multiple investigators (Bryan, Tony and Jen).  The smell seemed to be tied to the name Arnold or Allen, though no history could be found tying that name to someone who worked in the building.  There were also voices heard throughout the building and sounds of feet shuffling on the floor which could not be explained. Tony also heard a male voice say a two-syllable word that he couldn’t make out.  During the night when everyone was asleep (the team stayed overnight on location), two investigators heard an interior door shut while no one was wandering the building. There were also claims of two female nuns on location as well.
