History:

• 1944 - 1957/8 Bussie’s Tavern

• 1949 June - bomb exploded at the rear of Bussie’s Tavern.  The bombing was similar to four others in the county that happened against Handbooks & Gambling. The location was rumored to have ties to the Milwaukee Mafia at the time.

Claims:

There are rumors that this building has ties to the Capone era.  The basement was used as a speakeasy and still shows the grates in the windows from that time period.

Experiences:

This location has been investigated twice by USPR.  One investigation was conducted with the paranormal team Shadow Hunters.

While in one of the storage areas conducting an EVP session, several pebbles were mysteriously thrown at investigators from an unknown source in response to questions being asked.  Our FLIR camera was also able to capture the image of two human  figures moving across the screen.  On a separate investigation, while Andy, Bryan and Jeff were walking down the hallway downstairs near the bi-fold closets, each door popped open as they walked past.  The floor in this area of the basement is concrete, and the investigators were not able to re-create the event after several attempts.  Shortly afterwards, the three investigators also heard hangers clanging together inside of the closets, despite the closets being empty.
